New Initiatives

Parklands High School benefits from a wide range of support initiatives ensuring that individual learning needs are identified early within a student’s time at the school.

Your child will be offered a tailor-made programme of study support that could include working with a member of the Pastoral Support Team, engaging in afterschool study support sessions or taking advantage of the Gifted and Talented scheme which provides opportunities for accelerated learning.

Advanced Centre for Quality in Study Support

Parklands High School is an ‘Advanced Centre for Quality in Study Support’, awarded in recognition of the service we offer to our students. Indeed Parklands was one of the first schools to have achieved Advanced Status. Parklands is Liverpool’s first Full Service Extended School. This initiative involves all agencies that work with young people in supporting the school’s activities.
